MEN'S MINISTRY

Helping men win at home and at work, grow spiritually, build real friendships, and draw closer to Jesus.

We believe God has a clear, biblical vision for authentic manhood — one modeled after the life of Jesus Christ.
Our ministry exists to help men Experience Jesus, Grow Together, and Make a Difference through solid teaching, meaningful relationships, and purposeful living.
Whether you’re new to faith, a seasoned believer, or simply looking for other men to walk with, there’s a place for you here.

Authentic Manhood - Florence Baptist Church & The Church At Hebron
This study helps men discover a healthy, biblical vision for masculinity rooted in the life of Jesus. It addresses a man’s design, identity, story, common struggles, work, marriage, fatherhood, and more. Each 6-week session includes teaching, powerful testimonies, discussion, and practical next steps.

Wednesday Night Men’s Collective – Florence Baptist Church
Weekly gathering from 6:30–8:00 PM. The format varies between video studies, book discussions, and live teaching. Evenings usually include large-group teaching followed by smaller breakout groups for deeper conversation and accountability. Topics are chosen to speak directly to the real issues men face today.
Thursday Evening Men’s Prayer Gathering – Florence Baptist Church
Meets nearly every Thursday night from 6:00–8:00 PM during the school year. This is a focused time of prayer, honest sharing, and spiritual encouragement. A powerful environment to lift up one another, our families, our church, and our community.
College & Young Adult Men’s Group (Ages 18–26)
Designed specifically for young men in the critical transition from high school to college and from college into full independence. Focuses on identity in Christ, practical life skills, discipleship, and laying a strong foundation for biblical manhood.  For more info click HERE.
Men’s Softball Teams
We typically field three teams (combined with The Church at Hebron) in the Boone County Parks & Recreation league at Rivershore Softball Complex. While we enjoy competing, building real relationships are the ultimate goal. Games are Tuesday evenings. This league fills up quickly — signups usually open around April 1 with games starting mid to late May, so there may be wait lists.
Other Events
Throughout the year we host a variety of special events — Men’s Gameday (built around the NCAA Basketball Tournament), skeet shooting, Men’s Breakfasts, and more. These are great, low-commitment opportunities to connect, have fun, and grow.

AUTHENTIC MANHOOD: FIGHT CLUB

Some Things Are Worth Fighting For:
The Apostle Paul encouraged a young man named Timothy to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. He challenged him to fight the good fight of the faith. Fight Club clarifies what it looks like for men to build a strong and active faith today in critical areas of life, including character, margin, money & possessions, discipline, brotherhood, purity, marriage, legacy, and faith.

Cost of Workbook: $15, available in the Resource Center
